Ray comes from the Philippines and grew up in England, where he obtained a BA from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, as well as a Master’s from the London Contemporary Dance School and a Master’s Degree in Dance partnership at the School of Contemporary Dance in Denmark. His work experience covers, dance companies such as Edge (UK), balletLORENT (UK), Franke Reignhart (DE), Goteborg Opera Productions (SE), Art of Spectra (SE), and productions for the Royal Opera House.

He choreographs in British universities and is setting up his own company, Roa-Dance.
