Gavin started disco dancing at his local youth club in the late 80s early 90s, he then went on to study dance at Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Since then he has been a dedicated member of balletLORENT, working with acclaimed choreographer and Artistic director Liv Lorent. Other performance credits include, European street theatre festivals, The Royal Opera House, Requardt and Rosenberg, fuel, Bock & Vincenzi and Hofesh Shechter. He has worked as movement director for various Northern Stage productions and choreographed on UK Youth and community companies. Gavin co created ‘Bagofti’ a solo inspired by the paintings and life of artist Francis Bacon, this was in collaboration with UK choreographer Gary Clarke.
