Where Does The Light Go? Is a starkly minimalistic physical exploration of memories and dreams transformed into one solo and a duet. The piece draws upon Valtteri’ Raekallio’s own childhood memories where he tries to analyze the emotions and memories. They survive as fragmentary flashes no matter how hard the artist tries to return to them in the present. This process of recalling creates a fragmented world – a result of memory having no chronology and where fantasy and reality emerge in a surreal landscape of dance, sound, projections and text.

The performance is an intriguing mix of installation, dance, theatre and music where various artistic disciplines interact to create a unique performance.
