The narrative in People stems from the interview That’s so random! with Leonard Mlodinow. The interview describes how people naturally want to give meaning to what they see. Combining this together with a structure inspired by Rudolf von Laban’s A-scale, the performance results in a confusing, hypnotising, bizarre and occasionally frantic quartet where the four dancers persistently explore patterns in and around the space.

In the midst of the slightly confusing and frantic movements in this dance piece, People invites the audience to see if they also can find a pattern, if there actually is one.
