About Pineapple Lab

Located at the heart of Makati in Poblacion, Pineapple Lab is a promising cultural hub devoted to providing opportunities for artists’ expression and making it available not only to enthusiasts but also to a wider audience who are seeking for a creative exploration or an artistic immersion. Knowing no boundaries, Pineapple Lab hosts various types of programmes – from exhibits of paintings, art pieces, photographs to events such as performance art, theatre plays, film viewing, workshops and everything in between, with the aim of enriching the Filipino art community.

Every month, Pineapple Lab produces five (5) new monthly programs such as the Pineapple Jam, a music event that hopes to foster local artists, movers, shakers and drinkers to get together and celebrate diversity; XYZeries, a platform to experiment new forms, new works or idea that never had the opportunity to try elsewhere; Gayborhood Night, a safe space for queer artists to share their talents and (more often than not) articles of clothing; Pineapple B*lab, a series of forum that challenges the works of the lab’s resident artists with a guided talkback; and Night Market , an avenue for locally-based craft makers to sell their products to the community.
