Ray comes from the Philippines and grew up in England, where he obtained his Masters from the London Contemporary Dance School and, recently, another Masters in Dance Partnership from the School of Contemporary Dance in Denmark. This mix of global backgrounds allows Ray to draw inspiration from a multitude of sources.

He has choreographed in dance companies such as Edge (UK), balletLORENT (UK), Franke Reignhard (DE), Goteborg Opera Productions (SE), Art of Spectra (SE) and the Royal Opera House (DK). Ray also performed in the 2015 production of Snow White by balletLORENT in the UK.
