Maryo J. De los Reyes is one of today’s most prolific major directors in Philippine cinema and television.

Various award-giving bodies make it a point to nominate him every year for his impressive body of work and he has won the Best Director award for  films like “Tagos ng Dugo’, “Sinungaling Mong Puso”, “My Other Woman”, “Kapag Napagod ang Puso”, “Laman”, the grand opus, “Magnifico” in 2003 and ‘Naglalayag” as Manila Filmfest Best Picture in 2004.
