Darrel Dan D. Lagasca studied at the University of the East, Caloocan and received a Fine Arts Major in Advertising. He also pursued his passion in music and received a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Violin at the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 2010. In 2008, his documentary Beneath the Howling Cold White Stone, A Documentary was given the Gawad CCP for Film and Video award.
